The crowd funding campaign to support theAi??1stAi??AmazonAi??Film Fest in London is up and running. We are bringing to Rich Mix in Shoreditch, London on 10th,Ai??11th and 12th JulyAi??a vibrant selection of short movies, documentaries & films for kids, mostly produced by local filmmakers from theAi??AmazonAi??region. We are also organising an arts exhibition with four of the most important photographers from the region. Itai??i??s a unique opportunity for those who love theAi??AmazonAi??and would like to know more about this amazing part of Brazil!

From 10thAi??to 12thAi??July, theAi??festivalAi??will present an extraordinary showcase ofAi??AmazonA?s culture, society, environment and political issues. The event will be followed by the photo exhibition calledAi??Visions of theAi??Amazon, presenting the art of Amazonian Photographers from 14thAi??to 31thAi??July.Ai??Celebrated photographer Miguel Chikaoka is among the names of this exhibition!
On Thursday, 10thAi??July, films will focus on the Amazonian region of ParA? and its cultural peculiarities.Ai??Highlights such asAi??Brega S/A:Ai??an irreverent documentary about the music phenomenon ofAi??Technobrega,Ai??a genreAi??created primarily throughAi??remixingAi??and reworking songs fromAi??popular musicAi??and 80A?s songs.Ai??OnAi??Friday 11thAi??July, the Rich Mix in Shoreditch will showcase a series of features and shorts focusing on theAi??AmazonAi??current agenda ai??i?? landless movement, environment, local and native communities, featuring films such as Toxic:Amazonand Corumbiara.TheAi??festivalAi??ends on Saturday 12thAi??July with a family day starting atAi??2pmAi??with the free screening of a fun animation movie calledAi??The Wave, followed by fun activities for the little ones!
