A�Brazil Pop Up Diner is a series of supper club style events taking diners on a culinary journey through the twelve Brazilian cities that will be hosting the 2014 Fifa World Cup. Between March and June, eleven Sunday events (lunch and dinner) will be hosted at The Bedford and Strand in central London. Each event will feature a three course meal inspired by one of the World Cup hosting cities with cocktails by Leblon CachaA�a and music from the region.A� Brazil Pop Up Diner is launching on 9thA�March with a menu priced at A?35 a head, including one Leblon caipirinha.

March events will kick off on 9thA�March withA�Recife, the capital city of Pernambuco state. Guests dining on 9thA�will experience a menu inspired by the local cuisine of this coastal town in BrazilA?s north east area.A� Diners can expect exciting savoury dishes, desserts, cocktails and bar bites designed with typical ingredients from Pernambuco cuisine such as sundried meat, hard cured cheese, guava marmalade and fruit like PITANGA and CASHEW FRUIT -A�check menu.A� The menu has been designed in partnership between Brazilian chefs Andre Salum (ex-Quo Vadis, Fino, Georges Club Mayfair and Brasserie Payard in SA?o Paulo)A� and Helio Fenerich (a private cook who worked with Ruth Rogers from River CafA�, Nigella Lawson and Alex Polizzi to name a few).

ManausA�will be the theme of 23rdA�March, showcasing food produce from the Amazon region where England plays its first match in Brazil. Its average humidity of 80% will certainly be a challenge for the players but it is the same weather conditions that favour the exotic local produce.A� BrazilA?s most indigenous dishes come from this region and the pop up menu will be presenting fruit such as CUPUAA�U, AA�AI, CAMU CAMU and others. The menu will be signed off by Rio de Janeiro based chef Roberta Sciasca, owner of Oui Oui, Miam Miam and Mira! Restaurants.A�
