Culturart Brazil was present at the March of Women 2014, in London. On March 8, International Women’s Day , the sky was blue , the big bustling Oxford Street, and right there on the side of Selfridges store in Duke Street, began heating theAi??Million Women Rise (MWR), with the plaque red and Black colour as the prevailing colour of the organization. ai???Almost forward , was green and yellow posters with many Brazilian women smiling. Brazilian flag next to their bodies, some with painted faces also yellow-green, others with percussion instruments in hand at Ai??AMBE ( Supporting Brazilian Woman Abroad )Ai??’s slide. Joined all around eleven in the morning in front of the Consulate, and others were coming in slowly starting point of the march . At one o’clock, began to march , passing through the intersection of Oxford Circus , Piccadilly Circus shortly after, until you turn the corner right there in front of the Brazilian Embassy towards Trafalgar Square – point of arrival happened to quartorze and twenty-five .
During the walking, the feeling was indescribable to see so many women together , with different languages ai??i??ai??i??and nationalities . Near the Brazilian side , there were women singing small songs, all singing in English, including Brazilian . Women who did not know but had the same language ‘ a scream voice to say no to domestic violence ‘ . However , Brazilian exchanged letters in English by a letter in Portuguese ‘ Man is not man hits woman. And when they were not singing , drumming came improvised with Brazilian instruments like tambourine , tambourine , rattle , triangle and reco-reco , without a trial . Still causing sympathy in the audience out of the rope, who watched smiling , and many photographers came to the ward to photograph them . The nature of each, the ward was more beautiful and special.
We can not fail to mention that there was presence of members of the Participatory Citizenship Council along withAi??AMBEAi??.

The closure was in Trafalgar Square with speech & music organized by WMR . The text was focused on numbers of women who have suffered domestic violence in the world , even talking about men who have killed women and not just the abuse.
Remember that they work with women who live in China , India , Pakistan and many other places where women not only live but also male prejudice has no rights and choice to change their situation . Have the song sung by women’s groups , had letters of encouragement , and even had one that said ‘ Lord told us we are the Queen ‘ , played with sound percussive African style , you could compare the rhythm of Brazilian samba- reggae from Bahia , causing even the Brazilian desire to dance , which caught the attention of some people around.
Comparing the year 2013 to this year, we can say that it was different, with greater presence of Brazilian joy and stamped on his face . Here’s video of the March 2013 and soon see the live interview during the March, with Marta Fernandes , founder of AMBE .
