Forrozeiros celebrated with the Festival in August in the UK. The years have passed and the ForrA? has expanded more than ever. In addition to the nights with classes and live music, the groups have organized and done festivals throughout the year in several countries.

The forrozeiros are so passionate about dance that even in London, six nights of the week are Ai??dedicated to dance, to make it a point to participate in events in different countries. In July, the Lisbon Festival was attended by many people who live in the United Kingdom.

The festivals are still intensely for Europe: in Lisbon (Portugal), in Amsterdam (Netherlands), Aachen (Germany), Paris (France) and Vienna (Austria). The United Kingdom has not been different. The focus is London, in spite of also being in Oxford and Birmigham.
The teacher of dance known as Douglas Dance reported an interesting fact: “the British are looking for my classes with the intent to learn forrA? and incredibly want to learn the lyrics of songs from “forrA?” .

Glad to have these kind of activities all over Europe. I think we are missing a lot about Brazilian culture! but fortunately that’s starting to change.
