Many people at the entrance, a team with red t-shirts, entry at gate 1 for the press, the stage lit, everythingai??i??s ready! Wembley Arena hosted 11 thousand people, either in love or intending to fall in love, who stayed for 4 hours to hear the advice of Brazilians Renato and Cristiane Cardoso.

The couple, well-known through the programme The Love School TV on Tv Record, came to London to talk about tips for couples and single people. Relationships are never easy; learning how to enter a relationship alone takes time, there are many disappointments along the way, and the couple that almost divorced today celebrated 23 years together. How? See the interview below.
Learn how to love intelligently is the slogan of the couple, which hosted a mostly English public which laughed a lot at the jokes of Renato Cardoso.

It was sponsored by UCKG Help Centre, a worldwide modern Pentecostal organization, that focuses on helping people with problems and which gives free support. (http://www.uckg.org)

The Interview
The couple took to the stage at 4pm after giving an interview to the press, while the audience was entertained by live music and testimonies of couples present in 2013, who are today in good relationships after following the advice of the Brazilian couple.
You almost broke up, when Renato realized that he could lose Cristiane. It was then that you began to rebuild your marriage. Even as Christians, with family teaching, you had to relearn. Tell us about the process of change.

Did you focus on reading the word of God because you are Christians or because you asked someone for guidance? How was it?
Renato responds ai???when Cristiane said that she wanted to divorce, I spoke to her father and he told me ai???itai??i??s your problem. You sort this out.ai??i?? Cristiane and I sat together and I said ai???we are going to sort this out. Make a list of what I have done wrong or what you donai??i??t likeai??i??. And so in 3 months we sorted everything out. I also made a list about herai??i??.
The couple, to the surprise of many, had already lived in London for 10 years and itai??i??s not by coincidence that they came onto the stage speaking English spontaneously, as well as to the press.

I ask the couple: what changed their lives during the time that they lived in London? Cristiane responds this time ai???this moment of breakup was exactly when we were here in London. I complained that he didnai??i??t time for me, that he just worked, but the problem was meai??i??.
Ai??
The Guardian was present and one of the questions was ai???What are the biggest obstacles to love in the 21st century?
Renato was emphatic, speaking about the 3 biggest causes of the destruction of a loving relationship.ai???Today, certainly the internet, because people donai??i??t know how to use it, porn which ends up becoming an addiction and harming the couple, and Hollywood which teaches unrealistic ideas, as if life was just a box of chocolates and flowers. Itai??i??s a lot more than that.

The Love School 2014 - Shirley Nunes01And so this led to the great question: What is the secret of a happy marriage?
Itai??i??s a matter of loving intelligently, that is really knowing your partner well, admiring and respecting them, which goes far beyond simply fancying them, and being supportive and unselfish. The better you behave towards your partner, the nicer they will be to you and the happier you will both be.
Ai??
Why is there a need for a love school?
There are schools and courses for everything but not for love. People gather information from the people around them ai??i?? from parents and other role models ai??i?? from what they see on TV, the internet, films and in celebrity gossip magazines, and the examples arenai??i??t always so great. Itai??i??s a little wonder, then, that while virtually everyone aspires to a strong and loving relationship and happiness in life, many trip and fail unnecessarily for lack of a little understanding.

Renato and Cristiane Cardoso emphasized the importance of having a strong marriage because it results in not just the coupleai??i??s own personal achievement but also more balanced and successful children, making for a stronger society.

The Love School Tv programme & the Bulletproof Marriage book

During the live lecture, with a large screen, the couple presented ai???the 7 biggest villains that destroy loving rBulletproof_Bookelationshipsai??i?? where the audience could identify with every example given. The difference in culture between Brazil and the UK, didnai??i??t hinder the flow of funny topics and facts. Renato says that this is because the problem between couples is universal, and therefore in the same way the advice can be used for those who are single as well as couples in any country in the world.

The tips given at the events and in the coupleai??i??s weekly programme can be appreciated and learned on Saturdays from 13.00 on Tv Record (the Love School Tv); and on English tv when it goes on air at 10am on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on Show Tv ai???The Chrissy Bai??i??, on channel 203 (sky), with an English presenter.

Furthermore, the couple wrote the Bulletproof Marriage book, in both Portuguese and in English. The content is focused on giving tips for couples and prospective couples on how to regain their love and protect their marriage from the constant attacks that try to destroy it.
