Every year the London School of Samba hold a competition to choose their samba de enredo (pron. samba gee enheydoo), it’s the theme song that will be performed at this year’s summer Carnivals, including Notting Hill.
LSS are proud to be the only school in the UK to hold such a competition, and on Friday 15th March, entrants will perform their samba live alongside the London School of Samba’s bateria. The winning enredo will be voted for on the night by a panel of judges & LSS members, and then announced.
After the competition, LSS will do what they do best and give a blistering performance from their bateria and dancers! A night not to be missed.
Todos os anos London School of Samba realiza um concurso para escolher o seu samba de enredo (pron. samba enheydoo) que é a música-tema, que será realizada no Carnaval de verão deste ano, incluindo Notting Hill.
LSS é a única escola no Reino Unido para realizar tal competição, e na sexta-feira 15 de março, os participantes irão realizar seu samba ao vivo ao lado da London School of Samba Bateria. O enredo vencedor será votado na noite por um painel de juízes e membros de LSS, e então é anunciado. Após a competição, LSS vai fazer o que sabem fazer de melhor com a bateria e dançarinos! Uma noite a não perder!!
