Zumbi dos Palmares became the figure head of black resistance against injustice and oppression in Brazil in the 1600’s. His legend lives on today and is celebrated by Renato as he promotes internationalism and diversity, in light of the Olympics hand over. Mixing Brazilian culture and African influences, this work incorporates dance, music, aerial skills, circus technic, capoeira and contemporary art in an astonishing spectacle and explosion of energy. Zumbi promises to be a dynamic and stirring party.
