What’s body percussion?
Body percussion is a very joyful, energetic and creative way of making music with your own body.
Tap, clap, stamp, click, touch, listen, play, step, dance, sing, move, improvise, experiment a self-discovery.
All the sounds are combined through games, exercises, rhythms and creativity.
Open to all levels. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes.
Let´s uplift our bodies and celebrate the spring! After a long season in Brazil, I would like to share with you some experiences I had there.

Alba Cabral is a brazilian musician, workshop leader, music tutor for early years. Has developed Body-percussion practice with Barbatuques Company (www.barbatuques.com.br) in São Paulo and researches Brazilian folk music with masters and groups in different parts of Brazil.
