Ana Maria will be speaking of the importance of the oral tradition for the understanding of our people and culture. The journalist and storyteller Ana Maria has been creating a project consisting of research and promoting the myths and legends of Brasil. The dynamic and fun lecture will be divided with mini shows/performances, explanations of the myths and legends and their influence on the Brazilian life, and videos demonstrating two examples of artists who have been doing a brilliant work promoting their culture through the art of Storytelling. There is no better way to learn and understand about another place than through its cultural manifestations. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A FREE EVENT BUT BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL.
