Com inspirações de Le Corbusier e traços modernistas Brasília foi entregue em 1960 no centro do Brasil com a função de integrar todas as regiões e ser a sede do poder.
Construída de forma setorizada o projeto foi escolhido por meio de um concurso público. Os arquitetos Lúcio Costa e Oscar Niemeyer foram os responsáveis por características tão específicas da bela cidade. Com o formato de avião, ruas largas, preservação do verde e curvas muito bem delineadas a cidade é um diferencial do restante do país.
Brasília chama a atenção pelo céu azul. Com o clima seco e ensolarado é possível ver os moradores se exercitando sempre em diversos parques ao redor da cidade. Com uma vegetação peculiar – o Cerrado – e natureza de extrema exuberância; parques nacionais e cachoeiras são uma boa opção para um final de semana.
A cidade é Patrimônio Cultural da Humanidade e atrai turistas que são interessados por sua arquitetura e também pelas questões políticas.
Em 2003, Londres teve a oportunidade de ver traços do arquiteto Oscar Niemeyer no Hyde Park. Oscar um pouco relutante em construir um projeto temporário foi convencido pela diretora da galeria; Julia Peyton-Jones, a mostrar seu magnífico estilo ao ingleses.
Cidade berço de Renato Russo, Cássia Eller, Capital Inicial entre outros excelentes músicos e artistas; Brasília tem um veio cultural bem apurado, além de gastronomia de excelente qualidade também.
Infelizmente a falta de incentivo faz com que a cidade não esteja entra a rota de preferência de muitos brasileiros e turistas, o que é de fato uma pena pois a capital do Brasil tem muita história para contar de maneira viva.
Para o próprio arquiteto:
“Eu diria que sou um ser humano como outro qualquer, que vim. Deixo a minha pequena história que vai desaparecer como todas as outras.” Niemeyer
Sempre com muita humildade Oscar é genial em suas formas. Visitar Brasilia é ter a oportunidade de viver esse modernismo tão diferenciado.

With inspiration from Le Corbusier and traces modernist Brasilia was delivered in 1960 in the center of Brazil with the function to integrate all regions and be the seat of power.
Built in a sectorized design was chosen through a public tender. The architects Lucio Costa and Oscar Niemeyer were responsible for specific characteristics such as the shape beautiful city by plane, wide streets, preservation and green curves very well delineated.
With the dry and sunny weather, the city, calls attention to the blue sky and the climate stable for almost the entire year. With a peculiar vegetation – the Cerrado – and extreme exuberance of nature, waterfalls and national parks are a good choice for a weekend.
The city is a World Heritage Site and attracts tourists who are interested in architecture and also by political issues.

Unfortunately the lack of incentives makes the city not enter the route preference of many Brazilians and tourists, which is really a shame because the capital of Brazil has many stories to tell vividly.
