ABRIR (The Brazilian Association for Educational Projects in the UK) believes that bilingualism opens many doors and has as its mission to disseminate knowledge in relation to the benefits of bilingualism, especially to speakers of Portuguese. ABRIR offers guidance to teachers and schools in relation to training, qualifications, teaching materials, curriculum, human and financial resources as well as a network of contacts in the UK and abroad. ABRIR supports existing groups and the formation of new ones as well as individual families on issues of bilingualism.
