Following the great success at the Back2Black Festival last year, Luiz Melodia marked his return to London with a magnificent concert last Sunday, the 6th, at The Union Chapel in Highbury & Islington. Accompanied by his talented band, he opened the gig dedicating the song to the unforgettable singer Amy Winehouse, and had the audience singing his greatest hits, ‘Perola Negra’, ‘Estacio, Holly Estacio’, ‘Negro Gato’ plus ‘Ser Boemio’, music composed by his father Oswaldo Melodia. He danced, joked and promised to return here to promote his new album that is to be released very soon in Brazil.

After the show, he received his fans and the press with much patience and enthusiasm. Happy Culturart readers!
